I’m a member of the church, as is my boyfriend. I’m 18 years old and he’s 26. We really want to get married now. We’ve been together for five years. I know that the difference in our ages is a lot but we really love each other! We want to start our life together, and to start a family. We obviously want to be sealed, but we’re first going to be married civilly. My question is, does the church accept my marriage at this age?

Temples are considered houses of God, places of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world.
Hi sister. Thanks for your question. The difference in your ages isn't important. I personally don't recommend marrying at 18, since marriage is an important decision that requires a maturity that the majority of 18-year-olds lack. But there's no church policy that prevents marriage at 18 years old. The two of you could marry in the temple if you're otherwise worthy. I hope this answer helps!
