Hi Astrid. Thanks for your message. It might be difficult to join the church without the missionaries, but if the problem is that your home situation doesn't permit missionary visits, you could also ask to receive the missionary lessons in one of our chapels. From time to time I do hear of people who join the church that way.
This might also be a good question for your local bishop, who will be able to evaluate your specific situation better. Have you already visited one of our chapels to see how we worship? You can find the bishop there. He'll be happy to help you with your concerns, I'm sure.
