I have two questions. 1. How should I understand sealings between multiple people, men and women? Who will be the husband or wife in the after life?

2. Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man. How can we understand Philippians 2:5-11 which says: “God exalted him to the highest place.” Was Jesus Christ, the Son of God, exalted only after He suffered for our sins, finishing His moral mission? Or was he already an exalted, glorified, immortal being?

Hi friend. Thanks for your questions.

1) There's a lot we don't know about what life after death will be like. God will work out the details in the end, especially when a man or woman is sealed to multiple other people. I do think it's a mistake, though, to suppose that "marriage" and "sealing" are identical. A marriage occurs between a single man and a single woman. A sealing usually involves more than two people. A husband and wife are sealed, but their children are also sealed to them, and they may be sealed to their own parents. Given that sealings usually involve multiple people anyway, perhaps it just doesn't matter when a man or woman is sealed to multiple spouses after death. It's not the same thing as "marriage" anyway.

2) Jesus was God even when He lived as a man on earth because as a pre-mortal being He was Jehovah, who created the universe under the direction of Heavenly Father. He was an exalted and glorified being even as a mortal man because He was perfectly just and perfectly merciful.

However, He was obviously mortal, because He was killed on Golgotha before resurrecting on the third day. He only obtained an exalted and glorified body after His resurrection.

I hope this answer helps.
